Meest has opened a modern warehouse in Poland!

29.05.2024

Now our work in international logistics will be even more efficient.

We are pleased to announce the opening of a modern warehouse in Straszęcin near Dębica, at Inwestycyjna 6 Street.

The construction of this facility took approximately a year, and now the new warehouse is ready for operation. The warehouse area covers 7,600 square meters, 3,600 of which  are occupied by a high-rack storage area, and around 500 square meters are allocated for office and utility space.

The warehouse is equipped with advanced technology, including a parcel sorting line with a capacity of up to 4,000 items per hour and a device for scanning parcels using X-ray technology.

Although we are currently using standard technologies for logistics warehouses, in the future, we plan to implement innovative equipment such as automated shelves.

The warehouse employs 37 people, ensuring its efficient operation.

In February, we processed around 700,000 parcels at the old warehouses, and it is expected that the new warehouse will significantly increase this number.

An interesting fact is that the warehouse is equipped with 12 loading docks: 8 on the southern side and 4 on the northern side. For smaller vehicles, loading platforms have been prepared on both sides, which will soon be additionally equipped with loading bridges, allowing access from the platform into the vehicle, for example, with a pallet jack.

Our international logistics operations will now be more efficient than ever. Meest handles shipments to destinations including Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Georgia, China, the United Kingdom or Israel.

The new warehouse in Straszęcin is another step towards improving our customer service and increasing the efficiency of Meest's logistics operations.
